Pteraspis
Pteraspis (from 'wing' or 'fin' and 'shield') is an extinct genus of pteraspidid heterostracan jawless fish. It existed from the Lochkovian to Eifelian epochs of the Devonian period in areas that are now the Americas and Europe.
Doliodus
Doliodus is a genus of cartilaginous fish known from the Early Devonian period of what is now New Brunswick, Canada. It includes a single named species, either D. problematicus or D. latispinosus, which was originally described based on isolated teeth and potentially fin spines, but has since had a well-preserved body fossil assigned. The classification of the genus is uncertain, but it has been considered a member of the order Omalodontiformes. Stensioella heintzi
Stensioella heintzi is an enigmatic placoderm of arcane affinity. It is only known from the Lower Devonian Hunsrück slate of Germany. The genus is named after Erik Stensiö, the species name honours Anatol Heintz.
