Hardangerfjord
The Hardangerfjord () is the fifth longest fjord in the world and the second longest fjord in Norway. It is located in the Hardanger region of Vestland county in western Norway. The fjord stretches from the Atlantic Ocean into the mountainous interior of Norway along the Hardangervidda plateau. The innermost point of the fjord reaches the town of Odda.

Folgefonna is a collective term for three plateau glaciers in the Hardanger region of Vestland county, Norway. They are located on the Folgefonna peninsula in Ullensvang Municipality, Kvinnherad Municipality, and Etne Municipality. The three glaciers are: Nordre (northern) Folgefonna, with an area of Midtre (central) Folgefonna, with an area of Søndre (southern) Folgefonna, with an area of , making it the third largest glacier in the mainland of Norway.
Langfossen
Langfossen or Langfoss is a waterfall located in Etne Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The waterfall is located about southwest of the village of Fjæra. The water falls down a towering mountain, a total distance of about before the water leaps out into Åkrafjorden at the base of the mountain. European route E134 runs along the base of the waterfall, making access very easy.
Sunnhordland
Sunnhordland is a traditional district in the western region of Norway. The district consists of the southern coastal regions of the old Hordaland county (now part of Vestland county). It includes the areas that surround the mouth of the Hardangerfjorden and the surrounding islands. The municipalities of Sveio, Etne, Stord, Bømlo, Fitjar, Kvinnherad, and Tysnes (and sometimes Austevoll) make up the district of Sunnhordaland. The regional centre of this district is the town of Leirvik in Stord Municipality.

Etnesjøen or Etne is the administrative centre of Etne Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located at the inner end of the Etnefjorden, along the European route E134 highway, about south of the village of Skånevik and about northeast of the village of Ølensjøen (in neighboring Vindafjord Municipality).

Løkjelsvatnet
Lykilsvatnet is a regulated lake in Etne Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The lake lies about east of the village of Etnesjøen. Water from the lake falls vertically in tunnels and pipelines to the Hardeland hydroelectric power station. The site is operated by Haugaland Kraft.
Etnefjorden
Etnefjorden is a fjord on the border between Vestland and Rogaland counties in Norway. The majority of the fjord lies in Etne Municipality (in Vestland county), but a small part of it also lies in the neighboring Vindafjord Municipality (in Rogaland county). The long fjord flows from the village of Etnesjøen to the west into the Skånevikfjorden/Hardangerfjorden. The fjord is fed by the Etneelva river which empties into the fjord at the village of Etnesjøen. The European route E134 highway runs along the inner part of the fjord.
Åkrafjorden
Åkrafjorden is a fjord in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in Etne Municipality and Kvinnherad Municipality. The long fjord reaches a maximum depth of . The fjord flows from the southern part of the Folgefonna National Park, draining the huge Folgefonna glacier. The fjord then flows to the southwest before emptying into the Skånevikfjorden near the village of Utåker. The Langfossen waterfall runs down the steep cliffs on the south side of the fjord, just west of Fjæra.
Fjæra
Fjæra (also known as Åkrabotn) is a village in Etne Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located at the innermost end of the Åkrafjorden, at the mouth of Fjæraelva (Fjæra River). The European route E134 highway runs through the village, where it enters the Fjæra Tunnel. The highway connects Etne to the neighboring Ullensvang Municipality to the east. Fjæra Chapel is located in the village.
Skånevikfjorden
Skånevikfjorden is a fjord in Norway. The long fjord runs through Etne Municipality and Kvinnherad Municipality (in Vestland county) and in Vindafjord Municipality (in Rogaland county). The fjord is fed by several smaller fjords such as the Åkrafjorden, Etnefjorden, and Matersfjorden and it flows to the southwest into the main Hardangerfjorden. Some villages along the fjord include Utåker and Skånevik. The islands of Halsnøya, Fjelbergøya, and Borgundøya lie on the northwestern side of the fjord.
