Famiclones

Dendy () is a series of home video game consoles that were unofficial hardware clones of Nintendo's third-generation Famicom system. Produced from late 1992, Dendy consoles were manufactured in Taiwan using Chinese components on behalf of the Russian company Steepler. These consoles were primarily sold in Russia. Over time, production expanded to include assembly at the Chinese Subor factory and the Russian Tensor factory in Dubna, Moscow Oblast. The Dendy consoles were based on Japanese hardware designs and cartridge formats, which differed slightly from their American counterparts.

PolyStation is a counterfeit video game console and Famiclone that closely resembles a Sony PlayStation, particularly the PS1 variant. The cartridge slot of the PS1-clone systems is located under the lid which, on an original PlayStation, covers the disc drive.

In video game parlance, a famiclone (portmanteau of Famicom and clone) is a hardware clone of the Family Computer/Nintendo Entertainment System. Subor is the western brand name for a range of consoles and computer systems produced by Xiaobawang Company (also Xiǎo Bàwáng Company), based in Zhongshan, China. Xiaobawang Company is owned by Yihua Group. The consoles were very popular at the end of the 1980s and in the 90s. Later the company diversified to manufacturing other electronic devices.

RetroN is a series of video game consoles created and developed by Hyperkin which allows users to play video games from consoles such as the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Super NES. Since the release of the RetroN 5, they have been connected via HDMI. The latest in the series, RetroN Sq, was released in 2021.
