Leptopilina is a genus of parasitoid wasp in the family Figitidae. The genus is best known for the three Drosophila parasitoids Leptopilina boulardi, Leptopilina heterotoma and Leptopilina clavipes, used to study host-parasite immune interactions. The venom released by L. heterotoma during oviposition contains virus-like particles that delay host larval development and suppress the host cellular immune response. There is no evidence that these virus-like particles are the products of viral DNA as described in other parasitoid taxa.

Thoreauella is a monotypic genus of wasps belonging to the family Figitidae. The only species is Thoreauella amatrix.

Eucoilinae is the largest subfamily within the wasp family Figitidae (Cynipoidea), comprising nearly 1000 described species in over 80 genera. They are small to minute parasitoid wasps that are endoparasitoids of cyclorrhaphous dipteran larvae. Eucoilines are recognized by the presence of a distinctive raised and often sculptured plate or cup on the dorsal surface of the scutellum (the mesoscutellum).

Alloxysta is a genus of wasps belonging to the family Figitidae. The genus was described by German entomologist Arnold Förster in 1869.
