It revolves around an auto rickshaw driver who maintains a humble exterior and avoids violence but conceals a dark past from his family.

Viyabari ( ) is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language science fiction comedy film directed and written by Sakthi Chidambaram. The film stars S. J. Suryah in a dual role as a businessman and his clone, alongside an ensemble cast that includes Tamannaah Bhatia, Prakash Raj, Namitha, Malavika, Vadivelu, Santhanam, Seetha, and Nassar. The music was composed by Deva. Cinematography was handled by M. V. Panneerselvam, and editing was done by S. Suraj Kavee.

Panchatanthiram () is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language black comedy film co-written and directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The story is written by Kamal Haasan with the dialogues by Crazy Mohan. The film stars Haasan, Jayaram, Ramesh Aravind, Sriman, Yugi Sethu, Simran and Ramya Krishnan, with Urvashi, Aishwarya, Sanghavi, Vidhya Venkatesh, Devayani and Nagesh in supporting roles. It loosely adapts from the 1998 film Very Bad Things with new elements added to it.

Deva composed the film's music while K. V. Anand handled the film's cinematography. The film released after much delay across Tamil Nadu in December 2002.
