Tron
Tron is a 1982 American science fiction action adventure film written and directed by Steven Lisberger from a story he co-wrote with Bonnie MacBird. The film stars Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn, a computer programmer and video game developer who is transported inside the software world of a mainframe computer where he interacts with anthropomorphic programs in his attempt to escape. It also stars Bruce Boxleitner (in the eponymous role), David Warner, Cindy Morgan, and Barnard Hughes. Tron was one of cinema's earliest films to use extensive computer-generated imagery (CGI).

Tron: Legacy is a 2010 American science fiction action film directed by Joseph Kosinski, and written by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis. It is the second installment in the Tron series and a sequel to Tron (1982). The film stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, and Michael Sheen. The story follows Kevin Flynn's adult son Sam, who responds to a message from his long-lost father and is transported into a virtual reality called "the Grid", where Sam, his father, and the program Quorra must stop the malevolent digital mirror image of Kevin Flynn, Clu, from invading the real world.

Tron: Ares
Tron: Ares is a 2025 American science fiction action film that is the third installment in the Tron series following Tron: Legacy (2010). Produced by Walt Disney Pictures, the film was directed by Joachim Rønning, and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, and Gillian Anderson, with Jeff Bridges reprising his role as Kevin Flynn from the first two films. The story is about artificial intelligence originating from the Grid entering the real world, namely a highly advanced program called Ares.
