The band was formed in 1999 by Patrik Austin after his departure from , and was instantly signed on for the French Vinilkosmo record company, and the band resides in Finland. In 2003, they changed their name from '''' to , a change between the two conventions for representing the Esperanto word , — poetic for (literally "sweet bitterness"). As a form of wordplay, dolĉamaro is also Esperanto for Solanum dulcamara''.

Iconcrash
Iconcrash is a Finnish Electronic rock/darkwave band from Helsinki, formed by vocalist/composer Jaani Peuhu. Now the band members include Arttu Juntunen, keyboard and backing vocals, Riku-Niilo Mattila bass, Matti Toivonen, guitar and Oskari Vilmunen, drums. The English-Finnish record company Parole Records published their debut album Nude in spring 2005, after which the live band was assembled.

Popeda
Popeda is a Finnish rock band hailing from Tampere and one of the staples of Manserock. It was founded in November 1977 by Pauli "Pate" Mustajärvi and Ilari "Ilpo" Ainiala, who were joined by Arwo Mikkonen, Matti Palmunen and Ari Puukka. Mustajärvi, the last original member, left the band in 2023. Following Mustajärvi's departure, the band consists of Costello Hautamäki, Alex Hautamäki, Lacu Lahtinen and Pate Kivinen.

ShamRain is a Finnish dark rock band from Helsinki, formed in 2000 by Janne Jukarainen and Matti Reinola. Their style is described as slow, atmospheric and dreamlike. The band released its second album, Someplace Else, in 2005 via Firebox Records.

Hurriganes
Hurriganes was a Finnish rock band that was formed in the early 1970s. They were very popular in Finland, Sweden and Estonia in the 1970s and early 1980s, as well as a popular live act in Sweden during this time. Their classic line-up consisted of Remu Aaltonen, Albert Järvinen, and Cisse Häkkinen. The misspelling of the name ("Hurriganes" with a "g") is intentional. Their style of music is very much of a nostalgic, pre-Beatles, roots rock'n'roll orientation. Elonkerjuu
Elonkerjuu is a Finnish folk rock band. Lauri Tähkä founded the band in the mid-1990s and it was known from 1994 until 2011 as Lauri Tähkä & Elonkerjuu. They were signed since 2006 with Universal Music Finland. In 2011 Lauri Tähkä left the band and started his solo career. The band shortened their name to the current form. In 2012 Juha Lagström was chosen as the new lead singer. The current singer is Osku Ketola, who has been in the band since 2017.

SomBy is a Sámi rock band from the Finnish side of Sápmi that sings in Northern Sámi. The band was founded in Vuotso in 2004. At that point in time, the band consisted solely of girls. Its line-up experienced some changes in November 2007 when two boys from Inari joined.
