Ctenoscopelus is a monotypic genus of lanternfish, family Myctophidae. The sole species is Ctenoscopelus phengodes, the bright lanternfish. It occurs in the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific Oceans on the southern hemisphere. It can grow to standard length.

Acanthogobio is a monospecific genus of freshwater ray-finned fish belonging to the family Gobionidae, the gudgeons. The only species in the genus is Acanthogobio guentheri which is a fish that is endemic to China. It is found only in the Yellow and Sinin Rivers. It can reach a length of up to 20 cm.
Albatrossia
Albatrossia pectoralis, the giant grenadier or giant rattail, is a very large rattail, and the only member of the genus Albatrossia. It is found in the north Pacific from northern Japan to the Okhotsk and Bering Seas, east to the Gulf of Alaska, and south to northern Baja California in Mexico. It is found at depths between 140 and at least 4,250 m, but typically between 700 and 1100 m. The giant grenadier has the usual greatly elongated, pointed tail of the rattails.
