Grimsby adjoins the town of Cleethorpes directly to the south-east, forming a conurbation. It is the administrative centre of the borough of North East Lincolnshire, which alongside North Lincolnshire is officially part of the Yorkshire and the Humber region. Grimsby is north-east of Lincoln, (via the Humber Bridge) south-east of Hull, and east of Doncaster.

The South West Coast Path passes through Porthgwarra, approximately 90 minutes walk from Land's End and 45 minutes from Porthcurno.

Porthallow () is a small fishing village on the east coast of The Lizard peninsula to the south of the Helford River, in Cornwall, England. It lies in St Keverne parish, north of St Keverne village. One road runs through the village, and there is public house, the Five Pilchards, named for the pilchard fishery. Porthallow is at the midpoint of the South West Coast Path and is within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
