Romsdalsalpene
or the is mountain range surrounding the Romsdalen valley in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. They are primarily located in Rauma Municipality, Molde Municipality, and Fjord Municipality. The southern part of the mountain range is also located within Reinheimen National Park. The famous Trollstigen road runs over a pass in this mountain range.
Tafjorden
Tafjorden is an inner branch of the Norddalsfjorden/Storfjorden in Fjord Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site West Norwegian Fjords. The fjord is located southeast of the village of Sylte. The small village of Tafjord is located at the end of the long Tafjorden. The only road leading to the rather isolated village of Tafjord goes through the long Heggur Tunnel plus several other smaller tunnels on the northern shore of the fjord.

Norddalsfjorden is a branch off of the main Storfjorden in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The fjord is located in Fjord Municipality and a small part is also in Stranda Municipality. The fjord is long, when you include the Tafjorden arm that stretches further east, it is in total.

Sunnylvsfjorden
Sunnylvsfjorden is a fjord in Stranda Municipality and Fjord Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The long Sunnylvsfjorden is one of the innermost branches of the large Storfjorden. The fjord ranges from wide and reaches below sea level at its deepest point, just west of Skrenakken near the mouth of the fjord. The famous Geirangerfjorden branches off to the west from the Sunnylvsfjorden.
Puttegga
Puttegga is the highest mountain in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It lies on the border of Fjord Municipality and Rauma Municipality. It is located just northwest of the mountain Karitinden, inside Reinheimen National Park. The nearest village is Tafjord, to the west. Tafjordfjella or Tafjordfjellene () is a mountain range in Møre og Romsdal and Innlandet counties, Norway. It is located in the municipalities of Fjord, Stranda, Rauma, and Skjåk. The area takes its name from the village of Tafjord and the Tafjorden, the main entry point. The highest peaks are Puttegga at , Karitinden at , Tordsnose at , and Høgstolen at .

Karitinden is a mountain in the Tafjordfjella mountain range inside Reinheimen National Park on the border of Innlandet and Møre og Romsdal counties in Norway. The top of the mountain is a tripoint border junction for Skjåk Municipality (in Innlandet county), and Fjord Municipality and Rauma Municipality (in Møre og Romsdal county).
Tordsnose
Tordsnose is a mountain in Norway. The tall mountain lies on the border of Fjord Municipality (in Møre og Romsdal county) and Skjåk Municipality (in Innlandet county). It sits in the Tafjordfjella mountain range and within Reinheimen National Park, about southwest of Karitinden and south of Puttegga. The lake Grønvatnet sits south of the mountain and the lake Tordsvatnet lies straight east of the mountain. Other mountains surrounding it include Veltdalseggi to the east and Vulueggi and Krosshø to the south.

Eidsdal
Eidsdal is a village and valley in Fjord Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located along the south side of the Norddalsfjorden, about southwest of the village of Sylte and about west of the village of Norddal. The local church, Norddal Church is located in the nearby village of Norddal. Eidsdal has approximately 400 inhabitants.

Valldalen
Valldalen (or sometimes just Valldal) is a valley in Fjord Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located north of Norddalsfjorden. The village of Sylte (which is also called Valldal) is located at the end of the valley along the fjord. The river Valldøla flows through the valley, and the Norwegian National Road 63 follows the river through the valley, on its way north to Trollstigen.

Tafjord
Tafjord is a village in Fjord Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is very isolated and (other than by boat) the only way into the valley is by road from the village of Sylte. The road is composed almost entirely of two tunnels through the very steep mountains along the edge of the Tafjorden: the Heggur Tunnel and the long Skjegghammar Tunnel.

Hellstugueggi
Helleggi is a mountain on the border of Fjord Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county and Skjåk Municipality in Innlandet county in Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Tafjordfjella mountains, about northwest of the village of Grotli. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Krosshø to the southeast and Breiddalseggi to the southwest.
