Barbapapa
Barbapapa is a 1970 children's picture book by the French-American couple Annette Tison and Talus Taylor, who lived in Paris, France. Barbapapa is both the title character and the name of his "species". The book was the first of a series of children's books originally written in French and later translated into over 30 languages.

Iznogoud (; from "is no good" pronounced with a French accent) is a French comics series featuring an eponymous character, created by the comics writer René Goscinny and comics artist Jean Tabary. The comic series chronicles the life and times of Iznogoud, the Grand Vizier of the Caliphate of Baghdad at an undefined period. His greatest desire is to replace the Caliph, leading him to repeatedly utter the phrase "I want to be Caliph instead of the Caliph" (dethrone him), a phrase that has been adopted in French and some other European languages to characterize overly ambitious people. Lou!
Lou! is a French comic book series and animated television series created by Julien Neel. The comic is published by Glénat and the animated series is broadcast in France on M6 and Disney Channel. The main comic's first "season" came to an end in 2018 after eight volumes, although a prequel series titled Le petit monde de Lou was released in 2019, with the second "season" titled Lou! Sonata beginning with the ninth volume in 2020.

Aquablue
Aquablue is a French science fiction graphic novel by writer Thierry Cailleteau with several artists, Olivier Vatine (first volumes) and Ciro Tota (middle volumes) and Stéphane Brangier ('Siro', latest volumes). An adventure and military-based series, it also features ecological themes and criticism of colonial exploitation. Much of the series has been translated into German and parts into English.

Percevan is a French comic drawn by Philippe Luguy, and written by Jean Léturgie and Xavier Fauche, first pre-published in the French prepublication magazine Gomme ! in 1981. The adventures take place in a medieval world where magic plays an important part. The series is more mature and darker than one might think at first sight in view of the round design of Luguy.
