Eibsee
Eibsee ("yew lake") is a lake in Bavaria, Germany, 9 km southwest of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and roughly 100 km southwest of Munich. It is above sea-level and its surface area is . It is at the northerly base of the Zugspitze ( above sea level and 3.5 km to the south), Germany's highest mountain. The lake lies within the municipality of Grainau and is privately owned.
Schneefernerkopf
The Schneefernerkopf is a peak in the Zugspitze massif in the Alps. It lies at the western end of the Wetterstein chain in the Alps on the border between the German state of Bavaria and the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is the dominant mountain in the Wetterstein, especially when viewed from Ehrwald.

Staffelsee
The Staffelsee is a lake in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district of Bavaria, Germany. The settlements of Murnau, Seehausen and Uffing lie on its shores. Within its area lie seven islands, the largest and only inhabited of which is Wörth. Wörth was the site of , a Carolingian monastery founded in the 8th century and dissolved in the 11th century.
Schüsselkarspitze
The Schüsselkarspitze is a peak in the eastern Wetterstein Mountains. It is one of the best-known climbing peaks in the Northern Limestone Alps. It has a multitude of challenging climbing routes, especially through the mighty slabs (Plattenfluchten) of the south face. In the vicinity of the summit is a permanent bothy where climbers may take refuge in emergencies.
