Agordat
Agordat (also spelled Akordat or '''Ak'ordat''') is a city in Gash-Barka, Eritrea. It was the capital of the former Barka Province, which was situated between the present-day Gash-Barka and Anseba regions.
Teseney
Teseney (, ), also spelled Tessenei or Tesseney, is a market town in western Eritrea. It lies south-east of Kassala in Sudan, on the Gash River. The city was much fought over in the Eritrean War of Independence during which much of it was destroyed. After the war, Tessenei has become a governmental administrative center with customs and agricultural offices and a military base.
Badme
Badme (, ) is a town in the Gash-Barka region of Eritrea, on the border with Ethiopia. Control of the town was at the centre of the Eritrean–Ethiopian border conflict, which lasted from the beginning of the Eritrean–Ethiopian War, in 1998, to the signing of a joint statement at the 2018 Eritrea–Ethiopia summit, twenty years later.
