Forset is a village in Gausdal Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located along the river Jøra, about west of the villages of Follebu and Segalstad bru. Vestre Gausdal Church is located in the village.

Dokkfløyvatnet or Dokkfløy is a lake which lies in Gausdal Municipality and Nordre Land Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The lake is part of the river Dokka. When the Dokkfløy Dam was built on the river, the lake was created. The lake sits at an elevation of above sea level. The water from the lake is piped through tunnels to the nearby hydroelectric power station. The lake is located about to the southwest of the village of Forset and about to the west of the town of Lillehammer.

Skeikampen is a mountain located in Gausdal Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is located about to the northwest of the village of Svingvoll. The area is heavily dependent on recreation which is dominated by the Skeikampen Alpine Centre plus hundreds of holiday cottages.
