Glomeridae
Glomeridae is a family of pill millipedes in the order Glomerida. This family includes more than 300 species distributed among 30 genera. Many species in this family have not yet been described.
Pill millipede
Glomerida is an order of pill-millipedes found primarily in the Northern Hemisphere. Also known as northern pill millipedes, they superficially resemble pill-bugs or woodlice, and can enroll into a protective ball. Adults in this order usually have twelve body segments (including the anal shield); adult females have 17 pairs of legs, and adult males have 19 leg pairs (including enlarged rear legs involved in mating). The order includes about 30 genera and at least 280 species, including Glomeris marginata, the common European pill-millipede. The order contains members in Europe, South-east Asi

Glomeris
Glomeris is a genus of pill millipedes that belongs to the family Glomeridae and order Glomerida. The genus Glomeris is the largest within the family Glomeridae, comprising about 100 species along with a few hundred subspecies, varieties, forms, or genetic aberrations. The genus is primarily distributed in Europe, but can also be found in the Canary Islands, North Africa, and North-western Anatolia.

Glomeridellidae
Glomeridellidae is a family of millipedes belonging to the order Glomerida. The adult males in this family have two pairs of telopods (leg pair 18 as well as leg pair 19) rather than the single pair (leg pair 19 only) found in other families in this order.

Hyleoglomeris
Hyleoglomeris is a genus of pill millipede with approximately 100 species widely distributed from Europe to East Asia. They typically dwell in warm-temperate to tropical climates, with at least two dozen species dwelling in caves.

Hyperglomeris is a genus of millipedes in the family Glomeridae.
Annameris
Annameris is a genus of pill millipede of the family Glomeridae and the subfamily Haploglomerinae.
Onomeris
Onomeris is a genus of pill millipede found in the eastern United States. First described by Orator F. Cook in 1896, Onomeris was first posited as the type genus of a new family called Onomeridae, but this was later rejected due to similarities between Onomeris and the European genus Glomeris, another Glomeridae genus.

Trachysphaera
Trachysphaera is a genus of dwarf pill millipedes in the order Glomerida. Just over 30 species are known, making it the third most species-rich genus of Glomerida. Trachysphaera species are patchily distributed throughout Europe and western Asia, extending from Spain to Caucasia. Members of this genus are tiny, with modified appearances resembling that of calcareous stones.
