Rodan
is a giant pteranodon-like monster, or daikaijū, which first appeared in the eponymous 1956 film, directed by Ishirō Honda and produced and distributed by Toho. Following its standalone debut, Rodan went on to be featured in numerous entries in the Godzilla franchise. Rodan is depicted as a colossal, prehistoric, irradiated species of Pteranodon. In 2014, IGN ranked Rodan as #6 on its "Top 10 Japanese Movie Monsters" list, while Complex listed the character as #15 on its "The 15 Most Badass Kaiju Monsters of All Time" list.

Anguirus

is a mecha kaiju (a giant robotic monster) who first appeared in the 1974 film, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla. Gigan
is a giant monster, or mecha kaiju, that appeared in Toho's 1972 film, Godzilla vs. Gigan. In Showa era, Gigan is a giant extraterrestrial monster, resembling a bipedal reptile turned into a cyborg by the alien race known as the Nebulans. In Millennium era, Gigan is a bioweapon created by the Xilliens and fought Mothra millennia ago before he was defeated by her and later awakened by the Xilliens in the present time.

Megalon
is a giant monster, or kaiju, who first appeared in Jun Fukuda's 1973 film Godzilla vs. Megalon as the titular main antagonist. Megalon is depicted as a giant beetle-like creature capable of burrowing, flight, and shooting projectiles. Despite its major appearance in the thirteenth film in the Godzilla franchise, it is also his only film appearance to date.
