Nosferatu
Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror () is a 1922 silent German Expressionist vampire film directed by F. W. Murnau from a screenplay by Henrik Galeen. It stars Max Schreck as Count Orlok, a vampire who preys on the wife (Greta Schröder) of his estate agent (Gustav von Wangenheim) and brings the plague to their town.

Vampyr
Vampyr () is a 1932 Gothic horror film directed by Danish director Carl Theodor Dreyer. It was written by Dreyer and Christen Jul based on elements from Sheridan Le Fanu's 1872 collection of supernatural stories In a Glass Darkly. The film was funded by Baron Nicolas de Gunzburg, who (credited as Julian West) also played the starring role of Allan Gray, a student of the occult who wanders into the French village of Courtempierre, which is under the curse of a vampire. Most of the other members of the cast were also non-professional actors.

Chandramukhi
Chandramukhi () is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language psychological comedy horror film written and directed by P. Vasu. It is a remake of Vasu's Kannada film Apthamitra (2004) which itself was based on the Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu (1993). The film stars Rajinikanth, Prabhu and Jyothika along with an ensemble supporting cast, including Vadivelu, Nayanthara, Nassar and Sheela. It revolves around a woman who has dissociative identity disorder that affects a family, and a psychiatrist who intends to solve the case while risking his life.

Romasanta
Romasanta, also known as in Spanish, and Romasanta: The Werewolf Hunt in English, is a 2004 Spanish-Italian-British horror film directed by Paco Plaza and starring Julian Sands, Elsa Pataky and John Sharian. It is available on DVD from Lion's Gate Entertainment under the title Werewolf Hunt.

Bhoothnath () is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language supernatural comedy film written and directed by Vivek Sharma. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan as the title character, Juhi Chawla, Aman Siddiqui, Priyanshu Chatterjee and Rajpal Yadav with Shah Rukh Khan in an extended cameo appearance. The film is an adaptation of Oscar Wilde's 1887 short story "The Canterville Ghost."
