Gröde
Gröde (; ; ; ) is a municipality in the district of Nordfriesland, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. With only 11 inhabitants, the municipality, which is coterminous with the hallig it is situated on (Hallig Gröde), has the smallest population of any municipality in Germany. The inhabitants of the island make a living from tourism and limited agriculture. Gröde forms the smallest electoral district in the country, with the tally reported practically immediately after polls close.
Halligen
The Halligen (; singular Hallig ) or the halliger (Danish, singular hallig) are small islands without protective dikes. They are variously pluralized in English as the Halligen, Halligs, Hallig islands, or Halligen islands. There are ten German halligen in the North Frisian Islands on Schleswig-Holstein's Wadden Sea–North Sea coast in the district of Nordfriesland and one remaining hallig at the west coast of Denmark (Langli).

Jordsand () was a small Danish hallig located in the Wadden Sea southeast of the Danish island Rømø and east of the German island Sylt. The island was first known by the name Hiortsand ("hart island") and was possibly connected to both the mainland and the island of Sylt. The old name refers to the presence of deer on the island.

Süderoog (; ; North Frisian: Saruug or Saaruuch) is one of the Halligen, a group of islands in the North Frisian Wadden Sea, off the west coast of Schleswig-Holstein in north Germany. It belongs administratively to the parish of Pellworm and is a bird reserve.
