Visviri
Visviri is a Chilean hamlet at the northern end of the country and the capital of the General Lagos commune in Parinacota Province, Arica and Parinacota Region. It is notable for being Chile's northernmost populated area, and for being near the border of three countries: Bolivia, Peru and Chile. The Bolivian settlement of Charaña is located to the east and Tripartito, Peru lies to the north.

Punucapa
Punucapa (from Mapudungun Cunucapi, black/fertile earth for legumes) is a hamlet () of pre-Hispanic origin in Los Ríos Region, Chile. Its isolated location by the Cruces River and the Valdivian Coastal Range has made the village an ecotourism attraction. The wetlands of the river is the home to thousands of birds; the black-necked swan is the most emblematic. In 2017 Punucapa had a population of 119 inhabitants up from 75 in 2002.

Paposo

Paposo or Caleta Paposo is a hamlet in the southern part of Antofagasta Province, Chile. It is located on a narrow coastal plain bordering the Pacific Ocean. The census of 2002 counted 259 inhabitants, who predominantly relied on fishing and mining for a living. Paposo has a desert climate, but "fog oases" exist on mountain slopes near the sea. In a region almost devoid of vegetation, these oases, also called lomas, support a variety of flora found from about to inland.
