Castorama
Castorama () is a French retailer of DIY and home improvement tools and supplies, headquartered in Templemars, France, and is part of the British group Kingfisher plc, which has 101 stores in France and 90 in Poland. The company became a subsidiary of Kingfisher plc in May 2002, along with Castorama's own subsidiary Brico Dépôt.

Ironmongery originally referred, first, to the manufacture of iron goods and, second, to the place of sale of such items for domestic rather than industrial use. In both contexts, the term has expanded to include items made of steel, aluminium, brass, or other metals, as well as plastics.

Biltema is a Swedish chain of retail stores, specializing in tools, car supplies and leisure products. Founded in 1963 in Linköping, Sweden, Biltema also has stores in Finland, Norway and Denmark. The company is owned privately by founder Sten Åke Lindholm, through Dutch company Biltema BV.

Dedeman is a hypermarket chain with 100% Romanian capital offering home improvement and do-it-yourself goods. The motto is "Dedicat planurilor tale", which translates "Dedicated to your plans". It is based in Bacău and operates 65 stores (as of January 2026) in the country. Dedeman was established in 1992.
Bricostore
Bricostore was a French home improvement retailer which operated stores in France, Hungary, Romania and Croatia. Founded by the French Bresson family in Paris in 1991, the company operated 7 stores in France until 2001, when they sold 6 stores to Bricorama and closed the remaining one.
Baumax
The Baumax AG (own spelling: bauMax) was an Austrian chain of home improvement stores. It was founded in 1976 by Karlheinz Essl Sr. in the city of Klosterneuburg and operated more than 150 stores in Austria and several countries of Central and Eastern Europe. In 2010, the company employed over 9,000 people and generated an annual revenue of 1.13 billion euros. The business came into financial trouble during the Great Recession. It was finally broken up by creditors in 2015/16.
