Schielo is a village and a former municipality in the district of Harz, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 August 2009, it is part of the town of Harzgerode. Basket weaving was common until in the early 20th century logging took over. Güntersberge, together with the other municipalities of the former Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") Unterharz, merged into the town of Harzgerode as of 1 August 2009.
