Her most prominent temple is situated in the town of Ambejogai in Beed district of Maharashtra. Other prominent temples are Jogeshwari Mandir in Pune, where she is revered as the Gramadevi or the protector deity of the city.

Khyati
Khyati () is one of the 24 daughters of Daksha, born to his wife Prasuti. Her father is regarded to have another 62 from his wife Panchajani (Virini/Virani). One of his daughters is called Khyati, who is married to the sage Bhrigu. Khyati bears her husband two sons, Dhata and Vidhata, as well as a daughter, Bhargavi.

Sinivali
Sinivali (, ) is a Vedic goddess, mentioned in two hymns of the Rigveda, in RV 2.32 and RV 10.184. In 2.32.7-8 she is described as broadhipped, fair-armed, fair-fingered, presiding over fecundity and easy birth. She is invoked together with Ganga, Raaka, Saraswati, Indrani and Varunani. In 10.184.2, she is invoked together with Saraswati to place the fetus in the womb. In Atharvaveda 7.46, she is described as the consort of Vishnu. Hence, Sinivali is identified as goddess Lakshmi. Kolaramma is the presiding deity of the town of Kolar in Karnataka, India. The Kolaramma temple is thousand years old and built by the Thalakadu Gangas in the South Indian style.
