Ryfylke
Ryfylke is a traditional district in the northeastern part of Rogaland county, Norway. The district, encompassing about 60% of the county's area is located northeast of the city of Stavanger and east of the city of Haugesund. It includes the mainland, which is northeast and east of the Boknafjorden and east of the Høgsfjorden. It also consists of the islands on the south side of the Boknafjorden. To the east, Ryfylke borders the districts of Setesdal and Sirdal, to the south is Jæren, and to the west is Haugalandet. Ryfylke is one of the 15 districts in Western Norway.

Nilsebuvatnet
Nilsebuvatnet is a lake on the border of Sandnes Municipality and Hjelmeland Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The lake lies in the Lyseheiane mountains about north of the village of Lysebotn and about east of the village of Årdal. The lake is regulated by a small dam on the southwest corner of the lake. The dam provides water for the Lysebotn power station. The lake drains out into the river Storåna which flows westward towards Årdal. The lake is accessible by a small service road from Lysebotn which leads up to the dam.
Tysdalsvatnet
Tysdalsvatnet is a lake in on the border of Hjelmeland Municipality and Strand Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The lake lies about south of the village of Årdal and about east of the village of Tau. The Norwegian National Road 13 (Rv13) runs along the northern side of the lake. The Svo Tunnel was completed in 2013 and it routes much of Rv13 through a mountain rather than along the narrow shoreline of the lake.

Erfjorden
Erfjorden is a fjord in Suldal Municipality and Hjelmeland Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The long fjord begins at the small village of Tysse in Suldal Municipality and heads south past the village of Hålandsosen before making a sharp turn to the west before emptying into the larger Nedstrandsfjorden. The Erfjord Bridge crosses the fjord, just north of Hålandsosen. The innermost part of the fjord (north of the bridge) is sometimes referred to as the Tyssefjorden.

Randøy is an island in Hjelmeland Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The island lies just off the mainland between the Jøsenfjorden and the Årdalsfjorden. The large island of Ombo lies to the north and the island of Halsnøya lies to the west.
