Galerina is a genus of small brown-spore saprobic mushroom-bearing fungi, with over 300 species found throughout the world. Galerina mushrooms are typically small and hygrophanous, with a slender and brittle stem. They are often found growing on wood, and when on the ground have a preference for mossy habitats. The genus is noted for some extremely poisonous species which are occasionally confused with hallucinogenic species of Psilocybe or with edible species.

The Hymenogastraceae is a family of fungi in the order Agaricales with both agaric and false-truffle shaped fruitbodies. Formerly, prior to molecular analyses, the family was restricted to the false-truffle genera. The mushroom genus Psilocybe in the Hymenogastraceae is now restricted to the hallucinogenic species while nonhallucinogenic former species are largely in the genus Deconica classified in the Strophariaceae.

Hymenogaster is a genus of fungi in the family Hymenogastraceae (Agaricales). The genus has a widespread distribution, especially in temperate regions, and contains about 100 species. The taxonomy of the European species was revised in 2011, and twelve species were recognized, for which an identification key was presented. In 2024, seven species were described from China.

Hemistropharia is a genus of agarics of unclear classification, though possibly related to the Hymenogastraceae or Tubarieae. A monotypic genus, it contains the single species Hemistropharia albocrenulata. This species, originally named Agaricus albocrenulatus by American mycologist Charles Horton Peck in 1873, is synonymous with the names Pholiota albocrenulata (Peck) Sacc. and Stropharia albocrenulata (Peck) Kreisel, among others.

The genus has a widespread distribution, and contains 60 species that usually form mycorrhizal relationships with species of Alder. The genus name is synonymous with Naucoria, with the correct genus being Alnicola according to the most recent taxonomic treatment.
