Hyperparasites are found mainly among the wasp-waisted Apocrita within the Hymenoptera, and in two other insect orders, the Dipter

Hemipenthes
Hemipenthes is a large genus of flies belonging to the family Bombyliidae (bee-flies). There are many described species, distributed throughout the Holarctic realm. These are small to large robust flies with a body length of 5–14 mm. A number of species formerly in this genus were moved to a separate genus, Ins in 2020.

Cryptoniscidae
The Cryptoniscidae are a family of marine isopod crustaceans in the suborder Cymothoida. The original description was made by Kossmann in 1880. Liriopsidae is a junior synonym. Members of this family are hyperparasites of rhizocephalid barnacles which are themselves parasites of decapod crustaceans. The morphology of the adult females gives little clue as to their true identity, but the free-living larvae show their true taxonomic affiliations.

Baryscapus
Baryscapus is a genus of hymenopteran insects of the family Eulophidae. Species in this genus are endoparasitic, meaning they develop within the body of another insect, with insect hosts being as varied as Hemiptera, Neuroptera, Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, Diptera, or other Hymenoptera.
Phygadeuon subfuscus
species of insect
Tachinobia
Tachinobia is a genus of hymenopteran insects of the family Eulophidae. It is a hyperparasitoid of Tachinidae flies.
Mesochorinae
Mesochorinae is a worldwide subfamily of the parasitic wasp family Ichneumonidae.
Cladosterigma
Cladosterigma is a fungal genus in the family Gomphillaceae. It is monospecific, comprising the single species Cladosterigma clavariella. The fungus is a hyperparasite: it grows on living leaves of myrtle relatives (genus Eugenia) where it parasitises a plant-pathogenic fungus in the genus Phyllachora. It is known only from an asexual state that forms conspicuous, yellow, branched synnemata (bundles of spore-bearing filaments) erupting through the leaf surface.
Eucerotinae
Eucerotinae is a worldwide subfamily of the parasitic wasp family Ichneumonidae with two genera, Euceros and Barronia.

Galeopsomyia
Galeopsomyia is a New World genus of hymenopteran insects of the family Eulophidae. The genus is a hyperparasitoid of other gall-inducing wasps of the genera Eurytoma and Torymus.
