Biometrics are body measurements and calculations related to human characteristics and features. Biometric authentication (or realistic authentication) is used in computer science as a form of identification and access control. It is also used to identify individuals in groups that are under surveillance.

Aadhaar
Aadhaar is a twelve-digit unique identity number that can be obtained voluntarily by all residents of India based on their place of residence, biometrics and demographic data. The data is collected by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), a statutory authority established in January 2016 by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, following the provisions of the Aadhaar Act, 2016.

WebAuthn
Web Authentication (WebAuthn) is a web standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
It defines an API that websites use to authenticate with WebAuthn credentials (passkeys) and outlines what WebAuthn authenticators should do.
It solves many of the issues of traditional password-based authentication by verifying the user's identity with digital signatures.
Although WebAuthn is often touted as a complete replacement for passwords, most websites that implement it continue to use passwords in some capacity.
