The '''''' ('Reich Navy') was the name of the German Navy during the Weimar Republic and first two years of Nazi Germany. It was the naval branch of the , existing from 1919 to 1935. In 1935, it was renamed as the Kriegsmarine (War Navy), a branch of the Wehrmacht; a change implemented by Adolf Hitler. Many of the administrative and organizational tenets of the were then carried over into the organization of the Kriegsmarine.

Perspecta was a directional motion picture sound system invented by the laboratories at Fine Sound Inc. in 1954. The company was founded by Mercury Records engineer C. Robert (Bob) Fine, husband of producer Wilma Cozart Fine. As opposed to magnetic stereophonic soundtracks available at the time, Perspecta's benefits were that it did not require a new sound head for the projector and thus was a cheaper alternative.

Monoceromyia is a genus of hoverfly. Species in the genus are found in the Afrotropical, Australasian, Neotropical and Oriental regions. They are mimics of wasps and the genus is distinguished by the metapleura being widely separate behind the hind coxae. The elongated frontal base of the antenna is at least as long as the basal segment of the antenna and the second abdominal tergum is longer than wide and constricted.
