Røra
Røra is a village in Inderøy Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located on a small peninsula between the Trondheimsfjorden and the Børgin fjord. The village is located about north of the town of Verdalsøra and about south of the town of Steinkjer. The village of Hylla lies just south of Røra and the municipal centre of Straumen lies a short distance to the west.
Hylla
Hylla is a village in Inderøy Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. Hylla is located along the Trondheimsfjord, about south of the village of Røra and about east of the villages of Straumen and Sakshaug. The village is home to a large limestone quarry and processing facility.
Beitstadfjorden
Beitstadfjorden () is the innermost arm of the Trondheimsfjord in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in Steinkjer Municipality, Inderøy Municipality, and a small part extends into Indre Fosen Municipality. The fjord has a length of from southwest to northeast, and a width of about .
Gangstadhaugen
Gangstadhaugen or Gangstad is a village in Sandvollan - Inderøy Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located on the northern part of the Inderøya peninsula, near the shore of the Beitstadfjorden, about southeast of the village of Småland. Most famous for the local cheese factory Gangstad Gårdsysteri. Hustad Church is located about north of the village.

Sakshaug is a village in Inderøy Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located on the Inderøya peninsula, about northwest of the municipal center of Straumen and about northeast of the village of Utøya.
Skarnsund
Skarnsundet is a strait in the Trondheimsfjord in Trøndelag county, Norway. The strait connects the Beitstadfjorden with the outer section of the Trondheimsfjorden. The long and wide Skarnsund is located in Inderøy Municipality. On the northeastern side of the strait is the village of Vangshylla and on the southwestern side is the villages of Venneshamn and Kjerringvik. The strait has a strong tidal current with a maelstrom.

Vangshylla
Vangshylla is a village in Inderøy Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located at the southwest end of the Inderøya peninsula in the Utøya area, surrounded on two sides by the Trondheimsfjord. The village sits at the southern end of the Skarnsundet strait. Until 1991, when the Skarnsund Bridge opened, Vangshylla served as a ferry and fishing port. Since 1964, it was served by the Vangshylla–Kjerringvik Ferry. It has since been converted into a marina and tourist center with rental accommodation for fishing in the Skarnsundet.

Meltingvatnet
Meltingvatnet is a lake on the border of Indre Fosen Municipality and Inderøy Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The lake is a reservoir that holds water for the Mosvik power plant. The water flows out of the lake into the Mossa river which flows into the village of Mosvik.

Verrasundet
Verrasundet is a fjord in Trøndelag county, Norway. The long fjord branches off of the northern part of the vast Trondheimsfjorden in Indre Fosen Municipality, Steinkjer Municipality, and Inderøy Municipality. It extends from Beitstadfjorden to the village of Verrabotn. The fjord is a maximum of wide, but at Trongsundet, the fjord is barely wide.
Venneshamn
Venneshamn is a village in Inderøy Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located along the Trondheimsfjord on the northeastern end of the Fosen peninsula. The village is located about north of the village of Mosvik, and about north of the village of Kjerringvika and the Skarnsund Bridge that crosses the Skarnsundet strait. The village of Framverran lies about northwest of Venneshamn. Verran Sparebank (Norway's smallest bank) was based in Venneshamn until 2006 when it merged with Grong Sparebank. There was also a general store here until it closed in August 2008.
