Megaloblatta is a genus of Neotropical cockroaches in the family Ectobiidae. Species in this genus are long and can have a wingspan of up to ; the world's largest cockroach by length and wingspan is M. longipennis.

Mimetica is a genus of leaf-mimic katydids of the family Tettigoniidae, found in northern Latin America.

Novomessor is a genus of ants that was described by Italian entomologist Carlo Emery in 1915. Until recently, the genus was thought to be a synonym of Aphaenogaster, but a 2015 phylogenetic study concluded that the two genera were distinct, reviving Novomessor from synonymy. Three species are currently described. This genus is known to inhabit the deserts of southwestern United States and Northern Mexico.

Jumiles (; ) are small stink bugs native to the Taxco region of the state of Guerrero in Mexico. Their diet includes the leaves of the encina (Quercus ilex) tree. Chumiles are a smaller, similar stink bug of the same region (southern Morelos and northern Guerrero). Any edible Hemiptera from the families Coreidae or Pentatomidae may be considered jumiles as well.

The ants are small in size and inhabit the leaf litter of Neotropical forests in Central and South America, from Mexico to Brazil.
