Pentel
is a privately held Japanese manufacturing company of stationery products. The company name was derived from the trademark used for one of their first widely known products, a portmanteau of the English words painting and pastel, but has since been interpreted as a combination of the words pen and tell (as in telling a story). Pentel is also the inventor of non-permanent marker technology. Most Pentel products are manufactured in Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Brazil, Mexico, and France.

Copic
is a Japanese brand of refillable alcohol markers and related products made by the Too Corporation. They are available in 358 colours with various nib shapes. The refillable ink comes in bottles of 12 ml and 32 ml, and can be used like regular bottled inks. The company also sells empty markers, which can be used to combine inks to create custom colours. The brand is distributed in the United States and Canada by its subsidiary, Too Corporation Americas.
Mitsubishi Pencil
(stylized as uniball) and are brands of pens and pencils, made by the of Japan. The brand was introduced in 1979 as a rollerball pen model, then expanding to the rest of Mitsubishi Pencil products.

is a private Japanese manufacturing company of stationery products. The company was founded in 1913 as Messrs "Tombow" and has since grown into an international business. Based in Tokyo with 397 employees.
Ohto
is a Japanese manufacturing company of writing implements. The company was established in 1919 as a manufacturer of dyes and ink. In 1949, the company became a pen manufacturer after they manufactured the world's first ball point pen with a chrome ball. This was also Japan's first ballpoint pen.
Itoya

Itoya (Japanese: 伊東屋; stylized as ITO-YA) is a Japanese stationery brand founded in 1904 (Meiji 37) in Ginza, Tokyo.
