Kaiju (from , ), or giant movie monster, are terms used in film and media for monsters, and the like, of enormous size, mainly belonging to a designated genre, known as kaiju movies, or giant monster movies, where they are usually depicted attacking major cities, and battling either the military or other creatures, mixing creature features with the disaster film genre, but also often involving science fiction. Examples include famous movie monsters like King Kong, Godzilla and Gamera, cult classics like The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, It Came from Beneath the Sea, Them!

Mecha-Streisand
"Mecha-Streisand" is the twelfth and penultimate episode of the first season of the American animated television series South Park. It originally aired on Comedy Central in the United States on February 18, 1998. In the episode, Barbra Streisand obtains the Diamond of Pantheos from Stan, Cartman, Kyle and Kenny, and transforms into a giant mechanical dinosaur called Mecha-Streisand. She is ultimately defeated by The Cure frontman Robert Smith, who himself transforms into a giant moth monster.

Bullbuster
is a Japanese multimedia franchise by Kadokawa. Originating as a concept book released in November 2017, it later received a novel series written by Hiroyuki Nakao and illustrated by Eisaku Kubonouchi. An anime television series adaptation produced by NUT aired from October to December 2023. A manga adaptation by Hishio Itami began serialization in October 2023.
Daimajin trilogy
is a Japanese tokusatsu series centering on an eponymous fictitious giant warrior god. It initially consisted of a film trilogy shot simultaneously and released in 1966 with three different directors and predominantly the same crew. The series was produced by Daiei Film and contained similar plot structures involving villages being overthrown by warlords, leading to the villagers attempting to reach out to Daimajin, the great demon god, to save them.
Dai-Guard
is an anime television series, produced and animated by XEBEC, and directed by Seiji Mizushima. It aired from October 5, 1999, to March 28, 2000, on TV Tokyo, running for 26 episodes. 6 volumes of videos were released on VHS and DVD. The series also had a very brief run (two episodes) on Cartoon Network through Toonami's "Giant Robot Week".
