Arslanbek Makhmudov
Arslanbek Ruslanovich Makhmudov is a Russian professional boxer based in Canada. He competes in the heavyweight division. Known for his power and aggression, Makhmudov has won 19 of his 24 bouts by stoppage, 13 of which came in the first round. He has held several regional and minor titles, including the WBC Continental Americas title in 2019, the WBC-NABF title between 2019 and 2023, the WBA–NABA title from 2021 to 2022, the WBC Silver title in 2022, and the WBA Inter-Continental title twice in 2023 and 2025.

Kumykia
Kumykia (), or rarely called Kumykistan, is a historical and geographical region located along the Caspian Sea shores, on the Kumyk plateau, in the foothills of Dagestan and along the river Terek. The term Kumykia encompasses territories which are historically and currently populated by the Turkic-speaking Kumyk people. Kumykia was the main "granary of Dagestan". The important trade routes, such as one of the branches of the Great Silk Road, passed via Kumykia.
