Laboulbeniomycetes genera

The Laboulbeniaceae are a family of fungi in the order Laboulbeniales. Taxa have a widespread distribution, and are parasitic to various orders of insects.

Herpomyces is a fungal genus in the order Herpomycetales (Laboulbeniomycetes), with species that are exclusively ectoparasites of members of the Blattodea order (cockroaches). As of 2020, 27 species of Herpomyces are formally described. Members of Herpomyces have been reported from all continents except Antarctica.

Gliocephalis is a genus of anamorphic fungi in the family Pyxidiophoraceae. The genus was circumscribed by French mycologist Louis Matruchot in 1899 with G. hyalina as the type and sole species. G. pulchella was transferred to the genus (from Gliocladium) in 1979.
