Tyrifjorden
Tyrifjorden (Lake Tyri) is a lake in Norway. It lies northwest of Oslo and is the nation's fifth largest lake with an area of 138.56 km2. It has a volume of 13 km3, is 295 meters deep at its deepest, and lies 63 meters above sea level. The lake's primary source is the Begna river, which discharges into Tyrifjorden at Hønefoss where the river forms the waterfall of Hønefossen. Its primary outlet is at Vikersund near the lake's southwest corner, where Tyrifjorden discharges into the Drammenselva river.

Halnefjorden
Halnefjorden is a large lake on the border of Vestland and Buskerud counties in Norway. It is located in Hol Municipality and Nore og Uvdal Municipality in Buskerud county and in Eidfjord Municipality in Vestland county. At , it is among the largest lakes located on the vast Hardangervidda plateau. The Norwegian National Road 7 runs along the northern shore of the lake, and that is the only road access to the lake. The lake is one of the headwaters of the river Numedalslågen.

Vavatn is a lake in the municipality of Hemsedal in Buskerud county, Norway. It is a water source for Gjuva kraftverk, a hydro-electric power plant, which utilizes the waterfall from the lake into the Gjuva river as it enters the valley of Grøndalen. The power station was put into operation in 1957 but was rehabilitated in 1995. The owner-operator is E- CO Energi.

Stolsvatnet
Stolsvatnet is a regulated lake in the municipalities of Ål and Hol in Buskerud, Norway. Stolsvatnet was formed in the late 1940s by the damming of the upper parts of three rivers, (Stolsvatn, Olsendvatn, Holselva) which created a continuous lake across the watersheds. The new lake covered a number of existing smaller lakes. It is a reservoir for Hol I kraftverk, a hydroelectric power plant located off FV 50 by Hovet in Hol. The power plant is owned and operated by E-Co Energi.

Skaupsjøen
Skaupsjøen is a lake in Norway. It is located on the border of Nore og Uvdal Municipality in Buskerud county and Eidfjord Municipality in Vestland county. The lake lies just north of the Hardangervidda National Park on the vast Hardangervidda plateau. The lake outflows to the river Skaupa, which flows into the larger lake Halnefjorden to the northeast. The nearest road access is the Norwegian National Road 7, which passes about northwest of the lake.

Ullerentjernet
Ullerentjernet is a small lake located in the municipality of Ringerike in Buskerud, Norway. It is in the Skjærdalsvassdraget watershed formed by a number of smaller streams, rivers, ponds and marshes which drain into Tyrifjord. Ullerentjernet is situated in Holleia, a hilly terrain with a forest switching between spruce and pine.

Juklevatnet is a lake in Hemsedal Municipality (in Buskerud county) and Lærdal Municipality (in Vestland county), Norway. It is located east of Borgund in Lærdal Municipality, just to the south of the mountain Høgeloft in the Filefjell range. The lake sits at an elevation of above sea level. It is located northeast of the lake Eldrevatnet and northeast of the lake Øljusjøane.

Pålsbufjorden
Pålsbufjorden is a lake in the municipalities of Hol and Nore og Uvdal, both in Buskerud County, Norway. The water table lies 749 meters above sea level. The area of the lake is . The Pålsbu kraftverk hydro-electric plant was built to extract power from the water that draining from Pålsbufjorden down into Tunhovdfjorden. The power plant, which went into operation during 2007, is designed as a turbine from above and is built in concrete. It is located just below Pålsbufjorden dam. Pålsbufjorden and Tunhovdfjorden are both part of the Numedalslågen watershed.

Norefjorden
Norefjorden is a lake in the municipality of Nore og Uvdal in Buskerud, Norway. Norefjorden is a long, narrow mountain lake which is known for its fishing. Numedalslågen flows into the far north and exits travelling southward to Kravikfjorden. Norefjord bridge goes across the lake between Norefjord and Gvåle. The surrounding terrain is steep and forested.

Waterfall from the lake is a power source for Usta kraftverk, a hydro-electric plant. The power station exploits the fall of the Usta River from Rødungen as well as Ustevatn. The plant started production in 1965 and is owned and operated by E- CO Energi.
Ustevatn
Ustevatn is a lake in the municipality of Hol in Buskerud, Norway. The main inflow is on the west side of the lake provided by Ustekveikja, which originates from the area around Finse in Hordaland. Norwegian National Road 7 runs along the north side of the lake. Bergen line railway has stations at Ustaoset and Haugastøl.
Brommafjorden
Brommafjorden is a lake in the municipality of Nesbyen in Buskerud county, Norway. Brommafjorden is part of the Hallingdal River (Hallingdalselva). This is possibly the widest and most quiet part of the Hallingdal River. Brommafjorden was the site of Bromma station, a now-defunct rail station on the Bergen Railway. It was opened in 1907 when Bergen Railway was opened to Gulsvik and was operated until 1984.

It sits about southeast of the village of Borgund and the European route E16 highway. The lake Eldrevatnet is to the north. The lake Juklevatnet and the mountain Høgeloft are both about to the northeast.

In neighboring Buskerud county, the lake Djupsvatnet lies to the east and Hallingskarvet National Park lies to the south.

Nygardsvatnet
Nygardsvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Hol in Buskerud county, Norway.
The lake is situated south of the Hallingskarvet mountain range. The lake serves as a reservoir for Usta kraftverk, a hydroelectric plant which was put into operation in 1965.
The water level is controlled by a dam at the outlet and a tunnel down to lakes Sløddfjorden and Ustevatn.
The Usta kraftverk power plant is owned and operated by E- CO Energi.
Katnosa
Katnosa is a regulated lake in Nordmarka, Norway bordering to the municipalities Lunner, Jevnaker and Ringerike. It drains through the river Katnoselva to the lakes Store Sandungen, Hakkloa, Bjørnsjøen and Skjærsjøen. It is regulated by the dam Katnosdammen from 1886. Katnosa is part of the Spålen–Katnosa Nature Reserve.
