Drūkšiai
Drūkšiai (), also called Drysviaty or Drysvyaty, or Drisvyaty (, ; ) is the largest of the Braslau lakes located partly in the northeastern part of Lithuania and partly in the Vitebsk Voblast, in Belarus. The lake water was used to cool the reactors of Lithuania's now decommissioned Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant.

Lake Asveja or Dubingiai Lake ( or ) is the longest lake in Lithuania (length: 21.9 km or 29.7 km counting the Žalktynė, Vyriogala and Dubingiai bights). It covers 9.78 km2 area and reaches a depth of 50.2m which makes it the third deepest lake in Lithuania. It lies partly in Molėtai district, Švenčionys district and Vilnius district. The alternative name comes from the historical Dubingiai Castle, constructed on the former island, and the small town of Dubingiai situated on the lake. The town is a popular tourist destination. It is approximately 361 hectares in size, has 21 islands, and one of them houses Trakai Island Castle. Trakai Peninsula Castle is located on its southern shore. There are ruins of the little Orthodox church in Bažnytėlė Island. Trakai was the capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania from 1321 to 1323 before moving to Vilnius. The lake and most of the other lakes surrounding the castle and city have myths and legends connected to them, of which most contain a tragic love story.

Tauragnas
Tauragnas is the deepest lake in Lithuania reaching 62.5 metres of depth. The surface area is 5.13 km2 and average depth 18.7 m. It is situated in Aukštaitija National Park near Tauragnai in Utena County. This is also a lake with the highest altitude (above sea level) in Lithuania.
Dusia
The Dusia lake is the largest lake in Southern Lithuania, Lazdijai district and is part of the Dovinė River basin. Other nearby lakes are Lake Metelys and Lake Obelija.

Žuvintas Lake
Lake Žuvintas is a shallow lake in Alytus district, central Lithuania. Area of Žuvintas Lake is 965 ha. It is the shallowest lake in Lithuania with the greatest depth 2.2 m and average only 0.6 m. It is a paradise for water birds, but also faces danger of becoming a swamp.
Luodis
Luodis Lake is a lake situated in the Zarasai district municipality of Lithuania. It is the 6th largest lake in Lithuania. The town of Salakas is also situated near the lake.
Dysnai
The Lake Dysnai is the second largest lake in Lithuania. With an average depth of only , it is one of the shallowest lakes in Lithuania. It is located in the Ignalina district municipality, about south of Dūkštas city. Dūkštas Train Station is the closest train station to the Lake Dysnai (route Vilnius-Turmantas). It is approximately a 2 hours ride by train from Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.

Lake Žeimenys (Lithuanian: alga) is a lake located in the district municipality of Švenčionys (it marks the administrative boundary between Vilnius and Utena counties) in northeastern Lithuania.
Linkmenas
Lake Linkmenas is a lake in Aukštaitija National Park, Ignalina District, Lithuania. It is 2,300 metres long and 600 metres wide. Linkmenas is part of a chain of seven interconnected lakes. The only major settlement on the shore is Ginučiai, which has an old watermill.
