The Xojo programming environment and programming language is developed and commercially marketed by Xojo, Inc. of Austin, Texas for software development targeting macOS, Microsoft Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, the Web and Raspberry Pi. Xojo uses a proprietary object-oriented language.

NEdit, the Nirvana editor, is a text editor and source code editor for the X Window System. It has an interface similar to text editors on Microsoft Windows and Macintosh, rather than to older UNIX editors like Emacs. VisualAge is a family of computer integrated development environments from IBM, which supports multiple programming languages. VisualAge was first released in October 1993. It was discontinued on April 30, 2007, and its web page was removed in September 2011. VisualAge was also marketed as VisualAge Smalltalk, and in 2005, Instantiations, Inc. acquired the worldwide rights to this product. IBM has stated that XL C/C++ is the followup product to VisualAge.

PascalABC.NET is a high-level general-purpose programming language supporting multiple paradigms. PascalABC.NET is based on Delphi's Object Pascal, but also has influences from C#, Python, Kotlin, and Haskell. It is distributed both as a command-line tool for Windows (.NET framework), Linux and MacOS (Mono), and with an integrated development environment for Windows and Linux, including interactive debugger, IntelliSense system, form designer, code templates and code auto-formatting.
