Deutsche Lufthansa AG (), trading as the Lufthansa Group, is a German aviation holding company. Its principal airline, Lufthansa German Airlines, branded as Lufthansa, is the flag carrier of Germany. The Lufthansa Group is the second-largest airline group in Europe by passengers carried, as well as largest in Europe and fourth largest in the world by revenue. Lufthansa Airlines is also one of the five founding members of Star Alliance, the world's largest airline alliance, established in 1997.

Eurowings GmbH is a German low-cost carrier headquartered in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group. Proposed as early as 1990, but formally founded in 1993, it serves a network of domestic and European destinations and maintains bases at several airports throughout Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. As of 2024, it is the largest low-cost-carrier in the German market.

The airline concentrates on international tourism, domestic Turkish flights to cities in Anatolia, and wet leasing. The total number of SunExpress employees is 5,000.

Smartwings, a.s. (formerly Travel Service, a.s.) is a Czech airline with its head office on the property of Václav Havel Airport Prague in Ruzyně, 6th district, Prague. It is the biggest airline in the Czech Republic, and it operates scheduled and chartered flights, mainly to leisure destinations. The airline also wet and dry leases its aircraft to other airlines. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Czech Airlines and has subsidiaries in Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia.
