Thejas is a Malayalam language Indian online news website and formerly a newspaper that was established in 2006. It was initially a morning newspaper published from Calicut. Owned by Intermedia Publishing, a private limited company in the same city, it is the mouthpiece of the Popular Front of India. The eponymous magazine was the centre of a controversy in 2011 for its pro-bin Laden and pro-Taliban stance. The paper closed down in 2018, leaving only the online edition and the magazine.

Vanitha () is an Indian magazine published fortnightly by the Malayala Manorama group. It is the largest magazine in India by circulation according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations, with an average of 687,915 copies sold (as of December 2013). It remained the largest by circulation in 2017 as well.

It has nine editions in India (seven in Kerala and one each in Mangalore and Bangalore) and its Persian Gulf edition Gulf Madhyamam has nine in the Middle East.

Prabodhanam () is a weekly Islamic magazine published in Malayalam from Kozhikode(Calicut) in Kerala, India.

Janayugom is a Malayalam daily newspaper published in Kerala, India. It is the official organ of the Kerala State Council of the Communist Party of India. It is the first newspaper in India using free software. Originally started in 1947 as a weekly magazine from Quilon to propagate the news and views of the party, on 16 November 1953 it was converted as a daily newspaper.
