Ló͘-bah-pn̄g
Ló͘-bah-pn̄g, also called bah-sò-pn̄g in southern Taiwan, or translated to minced pork rice in English, is a rice dish that is commonly seen throughout Taiwan and Southern Fujian, China. The flavor may vary from one region to another, but the basic ingredients remain the same: ground pork marinated and boiled in soy sauce served on top of steamed rice. It is a type of gaifan dish.

Quzi
Quzi (), also spelled as qoozi or ghoozi, is a popular rice-based dish and is considered one of Iraq's national dishes. It is served with very slowly cooked lamb, roasted nuts, and raisins served over rice. The dish can also be found in some Arab states of the Persian Gulf.

Pelau
Pelau is a traditional rice dish from the West Indies (Guadeloupe, Dominica) and Caribbean countries such as Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Saint Lucia and the Virgin Islands. Its main ingredients typically include meat (usually chicken or beef), rice, pigeon peas or cowpeas, coconut milk and sugar. Various vegetables and spices may be added. Common spices used in the dish are cardamom, cloves, cumin, and coriander. The meat is caramelised in brown sugar along with onion and garlic and the other ingredients are then added one by one, resulting in a dark brown stew.
