Ovrya
Ovria (, also: Οβρυά - Ovrya) is a district in Patras, Greece. , located 6 km south of Patras city centre. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Patras, of which it is a community. Between 1997 and 2011, it was the seat of the former municipality of Messatida. The Greek National Roads 9 (Patras - Pyrgos) and 33 (Patras - Tripoli) pass through the town. Ovria is in the transition zone from the densely populated coastal area to the hills in the southeast, including Omplos. Agriculture (olive groves, pastures) is still the dominant land use in the areas south
Demenika
Demenika () is a village/suburb in the municipality of Patras, Achaea, Greece. It lies south of the city centre, south of the river Glafkos. It is part of the community of Saravali within the municipal unit of Messatida. It is 2 km northeast of Ovrya and 4 km east of Paralia. The Greek National Road 33 (Patras - Tripoli) passes through the village, and the new Greek National Road 9 (Patras - Pyrgos) passes south of the village.
Messatida Municipal Unit
Messatida () is a former municipality in Achaea, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Patras, of which it is a municipal unit. The seat of the municipality was in Ovria. It is located south of Patras city centre, and stretches from the urbanized plains near the Gulf of Patras to the Omplos hills in the east. It has an area of 66.366 km².
Saravali
Saravali () is an important village and community in the municipal unit of Messatida, Patras, Achaea, Greece. The community is located at the southeastern edge of the agglomeration of Patras. The community consists of the villages Saravali, Agios Stefanos, Demenika (the largest village), Kefalovryso and Bakari. Saravali is 6 km south of Patras city centre. Adjacent communities are Petroto to the east, Patras to the north, Ovria to the west and Krini to the south. The Greek National Road 9 (Patras - Pyrgos) runs through the community.

Omplos
Omplos () is a mountain in Achaea, Greece. It rises steeply from the coastal plains around Patras to 926 m elevation. It is separated from the higher mountain Panachaikos by the valley of the river Glafkos. The summit is 2 km west of the village Petroto, 4 km east of Kallithea, 4 km southeast of Saravali and 10 km southeast of Patras city centre.
