Kinglassie ( or Cill Ghlaise) is a small village and parish in central Fife, Scotland. It is located two miles southwest of Glenrothes. It has a population of around () The civil parish has a population of 22,543 (in 2011). The village lies to the north of the Lochty Burn, southwest of Glenrothes in Fife, and two miles southeast of Perth and Kinross district. For many years, it was a weaving village, but in the 19th and 20th centuries it developed as a mining town.

Ballingry ( or locally or (older) ); , ) is a town in Fife, Scotland. It is near the boundary with Perth and Kinross, north of Lochgelly. It has an estimated population of in . The once separate villages of Ballingry, Lochore, Crosshill, and Glencraig are now somewhat joined together as the part of the Benarty area. Ballingry, along with its neighbour Lochgelly, is one of Fife's 'regeneration areas' and is classed as in need of regeneration economically and socially.

Torryburn (previously called Torry/ Torrie) is a village and parish in Fife, Scotland, lying on the north shore of the Firth of Forth. It is one of a number of old port communities on this coast and at one point served as port for Dunfermline. It lies in the Bay of Torry in south western Fife.

Kingseat is a village in Fife, Scotland, approximately northeast of Dunfermline. It was originally a coal mining village with the first pits sunk in the area in the mid 1800s. According to local belief, the village’s name comes from royal visits to the area, where the king was said to have looked out over the River Forth and toward Arthur's Seat.
