Simatai (), a section of the Great Wall of China located in the north of Miyun District, 120 km northeast of the city center of Beijing, holds the access to Gubeikou, a strategic pass in the eastern part of the Great Wall. It was closed in June 2010 but has been reopened to tourists since 2014.

Gubeikou
Gubeikou Town () is a town of Miyun District in northeastern Beijing, traversed by G101, bordering with Luanping County, Hebei to the north and the Beijing towns of Gaoling () to the west, Xinchengzi () to the east and Taishitun (). The area is one of the important passes of the Great Wall of China, serving as an ancient chokepoint for travelers between Northeast China and Beijing. As of 2020, it had a total population of 7,170 under its administration.

Xiwengzhuang Town
Xiwengzhuang Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. Situated on the southwest of the Miyun Reservoir, it borders Shicheng and Bulaotun Towns to the north, Mujiayu Town to the east, Miyun Town to the south, and Xitiangezhuang Town to the west. In the year 2020, its population was 20,438.
Henanzhai
Henanzhai Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. Situated at the northwest of Ligu Mountain, the town shares border with Gulou Subdistrict and Mujiayu Town in the north, Jugezhuang and Dongshaoqu Towns in the east, Mulin Town in the south, as well as Beifang and Shilipu Towns in the west. In the year 2020, the census counted 24,155 residents for this town.

Bulaotun
Bulaotun Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. It lies between part of Yan Mountain Range and Miyun Reservoir. The town borders Mayingzi Manchu Ethnic Township to the north, Gaoling Town to the east, Xiwengzhuang and Mujiayu Towns to the south, as well as Shicheng and Fengjiayu Towns to the west. In 2020, it was home to 12,705 inhabitants.

Jugezhuang Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. it is on the north of a mountainous region. The town is located to the south of Mujiayu and Taishitun Towns, west of Dachengzi Town, north of Dahuashan and Dongshaoqu Towns, and northeast of Henanzhai Town. In 2020, it had 22,032 residents within its borders.
Dongshaoqu
Dongshaoqu Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. It is located within a valley, and surrounded by mountains in all four directions. The town borders Jugezhuang Town to the north, Dahuashan and Liujiadian Towns to the east, Yukou and Longwantun Towns to the south, as well as Mulin and Henanzhai Towns to the west. There are 9,495 inhabitants under its administration as of 2020.
Taishitun
Taishitun Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. Chao River, Qingshui River and Andamu River converge here before flowing into Miyun Reservoir. The town is situated south of Gaoling and Gubeikou Towns, west of Xinchengzi and Wulingshan Towns, northwest of Beizhuang and Dachengzi Towns, as well as northeast of Jugezhuang and Mujiayu Towns. According to the 2020 census, it was home to 22,388 inhabitants.
