Rhynchocalyx lawsonioides, the false-waterberry, is a small flowering tree, the sole species of the genus Rhynchocalyx. It had also previously been regarded as the only species in the monogeneric family Rhynchocalycaceae but is now included in the expanded Penaeaceae along with Olinia (formerly of the Oliniaceae) under the APG III system of classification. Rhynchocalyx is endemic to the KwaZulu-Cape coastal forest mosaic ecoregion of the Natal and Eastern Cape provinces of South Africa.

Adenaria is a monotypic genus of plants in the family Lythraceae containing the single species Adenaria floribunda. Its common names include fruta de pavo. It is native to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and parts of Central and South America.

Korupodendron differs from the other African genus Erismadelphus by having three conspicuous and petaloid sepals and two inconspicuous sepals.

Dactylocladus is a monotypic genus of trees in the family Crypteroniaceae. It contains the single species Dactylocladus stenostachys. The generic name means "finger twigs", referring to the branching of the twigs. The specific epithet stenostachys means "small spike", referring to the inflorescence.
