Triglav
Triglav (; ; ), with an elevation of , is the highest mountain in Slovenia and the highest peak of the Julian Alps. The mountain is the pre-eminent symbol of the Slovene nation, appearing on the coat of arms and flag of Slovenia. It is the centrepiece of Triglav National Park, Slovenia's only national park. Triglav was also the highest peak in Yugoslavia before Slovenia's independence in 1991.

Škrlatica, historically also known as Suhi plaz, is a mountain in the Slovenian Julian Alps. With its summit at 2,740m above sea level, it is the second-highest peak in Slovenia (after Triglav at 2,864m) and the third highest in the Julian Alps as a whole (after Triglav and Jôf di Montasio / Montaž at 2,754m).

Krn (; ) is a mountain in northwestern Slovenia. It is the highest peak of the Krn Mountains, a sub-chain of the southwestern Julian Alps.
Mangart
Mangart or Mangrt is a mountain in the Julian Alps, located on the border between Italy and Slovenia. With an elevation of , it is the fourth-highest peak in Slovenia, after Triglav, Škrlatica and Mali Triglav. It was first climbed in 1794 by the naturalist Franz von Hohenwart. Mangart is also the name of the mountain range between the Koritnica Valley and the Mangart Valley, with the highest peak called Veliki Mangart (Big Mount Mangart).

Prisojnik
Prisojnik or Prisank is a mountain of the Julian Alps in Slovenia, the 18th tallest peak in the country at a height of 2,547 m. A popular hiking and climbing destination, it is located immediately above the well-traveled Vršič Pass, from where most ascents begin.

Špik is a mountain in Slovenia, the fourteenth-highest peak in the Julian Alps at 2,472 m (8110 feet).

Kanjavec
Kanjavec is a mountain in the center of Triglav National Park. It lies between the Dolič Pass at 2,164 m, the Hribarice Pass at 2,306 m and the Prehodavci Pass at 2071 m. Kanjavec is also a popular ski touring destination. From the summit, there is a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. It is relatively easy to ascend, with a few exposed areas.

Prestreljenik
Prestreljenik () is a mountain in the western range of the Julian Alps. The summit of the mountain lies on the Italian–Slovenian border, which runs along the Kanin group ridge in the area. The mountain's southern and northern slopes lie in the Slovenian municipality of Tolmin and the Italian commune of Udine, respectively.

Stenar (2501 m) is a mountain in Julian Alps in the Razor and Prisojnik group. The top of the mountain offers a good panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.

Ratitovec is a mountain ridge in the Julian Alps in Slovenia. The highest peak on the ridge is Mount Altemaver (). The Krek Lodge () stands on the ridge.

Jerebica
Jerebica (; ; ), with an elevation of , is one of the two-thousand-meter mountains (dvatisočaki) in the Julian Alps of Slovenia. Set on the Italy–Slovenia border, the mountain is located two kilometers immediately south of Lake Predil and five kilometers north of the town of Bovec. It is part of Triglav National Park.
