The Plöckenstein () is a mountain, high, in the Bohemian Forest on the Austro-Czech border. Its summit is the highest point in the Bohemian Forest in both countries, and also the highest point in the regions of Mühlviertel and South Bohemia. It is well known as a result of stories by Adalbert Stifter.

Hochkar
Hochkar (1,808 m) is a mountain and a ski area located from Vienna. Located near the small resort of Göstling an der Ybbs on the Steiermark and Lower Austria border, it is popular among skiers who want to leave Vienna for a day, being about a two-hour drive away.

The Hochficht () is a mountain on the border between Austria and the Czech Republic with an elevation of . It is situated in the Bohemian Forest mountain range.

Gjaidstein
The Hoher Gjaidstein is a high mountain peak in the Dachstein Mountains in Upper Austria east and above the Hallstätter Glacier. It may be reached from the summit station of the Dachstein South Face Cable Car or from the Simony Hut each of which is an easy grade I climb. As well as the Hoher Gjaidstein (="High Gjaidstein") there is also the Niederen Gjaidstein ("Low Gjaidstein", ) and the Kleinen Gjaidstein ("Little Gjaidstein", ).
Warscheneck
Warscheneck (2,388 m) is a mountain of the Totes Gebirge in the Eastern Alps, in Upper Austria. It is located near the town of Liezen, and is a popular mountain for hiking in the summer and ski touring in the winter.
Feuerkogel
Feuerkogel is a mountain located in Gmunden District and the state of Upper Austria, in the central part of the country, 200 km west of the capital Vienna. The summit of Feuerkogel is 1,592 meters above sea level. Feuerkogel forms the eastern end of the Höllengebirge, which stretches between Lake Attersee and Lake Traunsee and protrudes towards the southern shore of Lake Traunsee. Höllengebirge belongs to the Northern Limestone Alps.
Sternstein
The Sternstein Mountain is situated in the north of Upper Austria, Austria in the districts of Bad Leonfelden and Vorderweißenbach. On its north flank it also reaches into the Czech Republic. As measured by the height above sea level of its summit it is 1125 meters high.thumbthumb

Rotgschirr is a mountain on the common border between the states of Styria and Upper Austria in Austria.
Taubenkogel
The Taubenkogel is a high peak in the Dachstein Mountains of Upper Austria, northeast of the Hallstätter Glacier. It can be reached from the summit station of the Dachstein Cable Car on the Gjaidalm or from the Simony Hut.
