Amethystium is an ambient/electronica/new age music project created by Norwegian producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Øystein Ramfjord. Under the Amethystium name, Ramfjord has released five full-length albums, two EPs, and two compilations, all through Neurodisc Records.

Atrox is a Norwegian avant-garde metal band from Trondheim. The group originally formed under the name "Suffocation" but soon changed it because of numerous other bands with the same name. Formed in 1988, the band released its first material only in 1997, and followed it with two releases on notable French metal label, Season of Mist. While their early releases are firmly rooted in death metal, later releases incorporate more progressive elements. In 2024, their album Contentum was named one of the 10 "wackiest" progressive metal albums ever by Loudwire.

Triosphere is a Norwegian heavy metal band from Trondheim, created in 2004 by singer and bassist Ida Haukland, and guitarist Marius Silver Bergesen. They are defined by their heavy metal sound emphasising their power metal-like melodies and choruses, while also featuring progressive elements. Bergesen is the composer of all instrumental parts, with Haukland acting as lyricist, and composer of the vocal parts.

Dadafon (established in 1995 in Trondheim, Norway) was a Norwegian experimental jazz band, originally called Coloured Moods (name changed in 2000), initiated by drummer Martin Smidt, and including Kristin Asbjørnsen (vocals), Carl Haakon Waadeland (drums), Jostein Ansnes and Bjørn Ole Solberg. The band had African music influences.
