Septoria
Septoria is a genus of fungal plant pathogens in the phylum Ascomycota. They cause necrotic leaf spots on the leaves of their hosts, producing filiform or cylindrical conidia inside pycnidia embedded in the leaves. Economically important species cause diseases on field crops, forages, and vegetables. The genus is widespread, and estimated to contain 1072 species.
Mycosphaerella
Mycosphaerella is a genus of ascomycota. With more than 10,000 species, it is the largest genus of plant pathogen fungi.
Cercospora
Cercospora is a genus of ascomycete fungi. Most species have no known sexual stage, and when the sexual stage is identified, it is in the genus Mycosphaerella. Most species of this genus cause plant diseases, and form leaf spots. It is a relatively well-studied genus of fungi, but there are countless species not yet described, and there is still much to learn about the best-known members of the genus.
Ramularia
Ramularia is a genus of ascomycete fungi. Its species, which are anamorphs of the genus Mycosphaerella, are plant pathogens. Economically important host species include Narcissus, sugar beet, and barley.
Pseudocercospora
Pseudocercospora is a genus of ascomycete fungi. An anamorphic version of the genus Mycosphaerella, Pseudocercospora species are plant pathogens, including the causal agent of the so-called South American leaf blight of the rubber tree. The widely distributed genus is concentrated predominantly in tropical regions. Pseudocercospora was circumscribed by Italian-Argentinian botanist Carlos Luigi Spegazzini in 1910.
Cercosporella
Cercosporella is a fungus genus in the family Mycosphaerellaceae.
Stigmidium
Stigmidium is a genus of lichenicolous (lichen-dwelling) fungi in the family Mycosphaerellaceae.
Mycovellosiella
Mycovellosiella is a genus of fungi belonging to the family Mycosphaerellaceae.
Sphaerulina
Sphaerulina is a genus of fungi in the family Mycosphaerellaceae. Sphaerulina causes leaf spot diseases on various plants, including both arboreous and herbaceous plants.
Achorodothis
Achorodothis is a genus of fungi previously identified as being in the family Mycosphaerellaceae. The taxonomic status unclear and it may be incorrectly attributed to Mycosphaerellaceae.
Phaeoramularia
Phaeoramularia is a genus of fungi in the family Mycosphaerellaceae. It was circumscribed in 1960.
Dothistroma
Dothistroma is a genus of fungi belonging to the family Mycosphaerellaceae.
Distocercospora
Distocercospora is a genus of plant-pathogenic fungi in the family Mycosphaerellaceae. The genus was circumscribed in 1988 with Distocercospora pachyderma as the type species in 1988.
