Ofotfjorden
The Ofotfjord (; ) or Narvik Fjord is a fjord in Nordland county, Norway. It is an inlet of the Norwegian Sea, located about north of the Arctic Circle. The long Ofotfjord is Norway's 12th longest fjord and it is also the 18th deepest, with a maximum depth of . In the English language and in many historical documents, this fjord is often referred to as the Narvik Fjord because the town of Narvik is located on the inner shores of the fjord, but this is not an official name of the fjord.

The island of Hulløya is located about halfway through the fjord, right before the fjord splits in to several smaller branches. The Tysfjorden is the deepest fjord in Northern Norway reaching to below sea level near Hulløya.
Rombaken
or (or unofficially: Rombaksfjord) is a fjord that branches off of the main Ofotfjorden in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The fjord is about long and is surrounded by steep mountains, and the town of Narvik lies on the south shore of the mouth of the fjord. The European route E06 and European route E10 highways run along the northern shores of the fjord. The fjord has two bridge crossings: the Hålogaland Bridge, completed in 2018, crosses at the mouth of the Rombaken fjord and the Rombak Bridge, which crosses at a narrow point about mid-way down the fjord.

The village of Lødingen lies north of the island. Barøy Lighthouse is located on the northwestern part of the island. The highest point on the island is the tall mountain Sørfjellet.

Skjomen () is a small fjord that branches off from the main Ofotfjorden in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the Ofoten district in Northern Norway, just south of the town of Narvik. The European route E6 highway crosses the Skjomen fjord over the Skjomen Bridge, just south of the mouth of the fjord.

Storsteinsfjellet
Storsteinsfjellet is a mountain ridge in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The mountain ridge is about long and it has six peaks over in elevation. The highest peak is Kirken at above sea level. Storsteinsfjellet lies about southeast of the town of Narvik. The lake Sealggajávri lies immediately north of the mountain and the lake Lossivatnet lies just west of the mountain.

Ankenesstranda or Ankenesstrand (often simply called "Ankenes") is a village area in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The village area is a western suburb of the town of Narvik and just east of the village of Håkvik. The village lies at the confluence of the large Ofotfjorden and the smaller Beisfjorden. The European route E06 highway runs through the village before crossing the Beisfjord Bridge into the town of Narvik. In 2016, there were about 3,000 inhabitants of the village.

The villages along the fjord are Bjerkvik and Herjangen. The European route E06 and European route E10 highways run along the northern and eastern shores of the fjord.

Frostisen covers an area of about , and its elevation ranges from above sea level. The glacier lies near the Skjomen fjord, a branch of the Ofotfjorden, just southwest of the town of Narvik. The village of Elvegård lies about east of the glacier. The lakes Geitvatnet, Isvatnet, Kjelvatnet, Nordre Bukkevatnet and Søre Bukkevatnet lie southwest of the glacier.

The Norwegian side lies in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county and the Swedish side lies in Gällivare Municipality in Norrbotten County. The lake has a dam on the northern end and the water is used for hydropower. After the dam was built, the lake grew and merged with the lake Vannaksvatnet to the south. The lake Unna Guovdelisjávri lies just to the east of this lake.

The Norwegian National Road 827 follows the western shore of the fjord from the E6 highway heading south to the Efjord Tunnel which leads towards the village of Kjøpsvik.

Elvegårdsmoen
Elvegårdsmoen is a military training camp site in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the inner end of Herjangsfjorden, on the southeast side of the village of Bjerkvik. The site was of some importance during the German invasion of Norway in April 1940 and the subsequent Norwegian Campaign. The camp was occupied by German forces on 9 April 1940, and it was recaptured by soldiers from the French Foreign Legion during the Battles of Narvik on 13 May 1940.

Fredskapellet () is a chapel of the Church of Norway in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the town of Narvik. It is an annex chapel in the Narvik parish which is part of the Ofoten prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The brick chapel was built in a long church style in 1957 using plans drawn up by the architect Jan Inge Hovig. The chapel seats about 250 people.
