Vecrīga
Vecrīga ("Old Riga") is the historical center and a neighbourhood (as Vecpilsēta) of Riga, Latvia, located in the Central District on the east side of Daugava River. Vecrīga is famous for its old churches and cathedrals, such as Riga Cathedral, St. James's Cathedral and St. Peter's Church.
Mežaparks
Mežaparks () is a neighbourhood of Northern District in Riga, the capital of Latvia. It consists of a residential area to the South and a large urban park to the North of the same name – Mežaparks. The neighbourhood is located on the western shore of Lake Ķīšezers. The name is literally translated as "forest park". The neighbourhood and park were built in the early 20th century and the area was originally called . It was one of the world's first garden cities. Daugavgrīva (; ; or Ust`-Dvinsk) is a neighbourhood in North West Riga, Latvia on the left bank of the Daugava river. In this neighbourhood there is a Swedish-built fortress on the Daugava River's left bank, commanding its mouth.
Ķīpsala
Ķīpsala is an island on the left bank of the Daugava river, connected to Riga city center and Pārdaugava by the Shroud Bridge. Ķīpsala is divided from the rest of Riga by the Daugava in the east, Roņu dīķis in the north, Zunda in the west and Agenskalna līcis in the south.

Āgenskalns
Āgenskalns (historically known also as Hāgenskalns or Hagensberg) is a district in Riga, located on the left bank of the Daugava, an old neighbourhood, mainly built in the late 19th to early 20th century. The total area of Āgenskalns is 4,6 km2, which is a lot less than other districts of Riga.
Bolderāja
Bolderāja is a neighbourhood of Riga, the capital of Latvia. It is located on the left bank of the Daugava River, in Kurzeme District. Bolderāja probably began as a fishing village. The area has been inhabited since at least the 10th century and possibly for a longer period, however there is no firm evidence because of variations in the course of the Daugava River and the shifting of sand dunes.
Imanta

The neighbourhood's northern border is Kurzeme Prospekts (Boulevard); and in the south, Imanta is separated from the newer Zolitūde neighbourhood by the Riga—Jūrmala railroad. Prior to development, the region consisted largely of pine forests, sections of which have been preserved in Anninmuiza Park in the center of Imanta, and the Kleistu forest to its north.

Šķirotava is a neighbourhood of Riga, the capital of Latvia. It is located in the Latgale Suburb of Riga close to the city's southeastern border. The perfect way to get there is by Rīgas Satiksme companies buses: N3, N13, N15, N20, N34, N47, N48, N50, N52 or trolleybuses N16 and N22. The neighborhood is serviced by Šķirotava station.

Dārzciems
Dārzciems (literal Latvian - 'garden village') is a neighborhood of Riga located in the Latgale Suburb in the southeastern part of the right bank of the Daugava river. With a population of about 21,000 inhabitants in 2010, Dārzciems's territory covers and is one of the most arid parts of Riga. The western part of Dārzciems mainly consists of one-or two-story private buildings, while the northwestern part is dominated by multi-storied housing blocks.
Torņakalns
Torņakalns is a neighbourhood of Riga, Latvia located on the western bank of the Daugava River (neighbourhoods along this shore are collectively known as Pārdaugava). The name Torņakalns (English: Tower Hill) derives from a fortified tower built in the Middle Ages close to the Daugava River to alert the city of Riga in case of emergency and intruders about to cross the river. The tower does not stand any more.

It is located on the east bank of the River Daugava, to the east of the City Centre and is defined roughly as the area between A. Deglava Iela and Ieriķu Iela. The area is characterised by apartment blocks from the late Soviet and the first years after the restoration of Latvian independence (1980s–1990s), though there is also some detached housing. The district is Latvian and Russian-speaking.

Beberbeķi is a neighbourhood consisting mainly of private houses which lies on the western edge of Riga, Latvia. The swampy forest in Mūķupurvs and the Rīga International Airport noise area divides it from the rest of the city. Within the neighborhood is Beberbeķi Park, which contains a small lake used as a beach and ice fishing.

Kundziņsala is a neighbourhood of Riga in Latvia, located on an island fully enclaved within the Daugava River in Freeport. The neighbourhood is administratively part of Riga's Northern District. Kundziņsala is the largest island in Riga. It is mainly covered by an industrial area related to maritime trade. With a population of 358 as of 2021, Kundziņsala blends the feel of a small rural community with the demands of nearby industrial port activities. This mix has shaped a strong local identity influenced by both its natural surroundings and environmental challenges.

Vecāķi () is a Northern District neighbourhood in Riga, the capital of Latvia. It is one of Riga's neighborhoods lying on the shores of Gulf of Riga, Baltic Sea. Westward Vecāķi is bordered by Vecdaugava – a partial oxbow lake (a dead-end fork of River Daugava that hasn't been cut off from it completely.) Thus Vecāķi offers both freshwater and brackish water bathing places, with the former having a higher water temperature come summer due to the smaller volume of Vecdaugava.

It borders Beberbekai, Zolitūde and Pleskodāle neighborhoods, as well as Mārupe parish of Mārupe county, which is adjacent to the D part of Mūkupurva neighborhood. The boundaries of the Mūkupurva neighborhood are a line parallel to Beberbeķu line 5, Krotes iela, a line along the residential massif, the city boundary (Babītes iela, Kalnciema iela) and Kārļa Ulmanias gatve.
