Nestos (municipality)

Chrysoupoli (, before 1925: Σαπαίοι - Sapaioi or Σαρή Σαμπάν - Sari Saban) is a town and a former municipality in the Kavala regional unit as part of East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Nestos, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 245.181 km2. The population of the municipal unit of Chrysoupoli in 2021 was 14,970.

Keramoti () is a town and a former municipality in the Kavala regional unit, East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Nestos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 115.095 km2. As of the 2021 census, the municipal unit had a population of 4,381, and the community had a population of 1,715. Originated as a small fisherman's village of Greek immigrants from Asia Minor, today Keramoti is a picturesque little sea resort with a sandy beach, several small hotels and a lot of vacation rentals.

Zarkadia () is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Chrysoupoli in the Kavala regional unit, Greece. The community consists of the villages Zarkadia and Ekali. The community had a population of 596 during the 2021 census.

Oreino () is a former municipality in the Kavala regional unit, East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Nestos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 318.555 km2. Population 960 (2021). The seat of the municipality was in Lekani.
